The panel does not open
Refresh the webpage after installing or updating DraftMirror. Browser settings pages and extension stores do not allow extensions to run.

Most problems can be resolved without sharing the message you were writing. Work through the checks below and never include private draft content in a report.
Common fixesThe shortcut does not work
Open DraftMirror Settings and confirm that a shortcut is assigned. If your browser manages extension shortcuts separately, edit it from the browser’s extension settings.
Always-on help is missing
Add the exact website in DraftMirror Settings, approve access when the browser asks, then refresh existing tabs for that website.
A page cannot be updated
Some rich-text editors cannot be changed safely. DraftMirror leaves the page untouched in that case; use Copy and paste the revision manually.
The draft is too long
DraftMirror reviews up to 750 words at a time. Select the paragraph or section that needs the most attention.
A suggestion is not useful
Use Hide to disable that check on your device. Suggestions are conservative guidance, not a judgement about the writer.
Reporting a problem
Useful details to include
- Browser name and version
- DraftMirror version
- The website name, without the message content
- Whether the editor was plain text or rich text
- What you expected and what happened instead
