How it helps Privacy Support

Privacy policy

DraftMirror is designed to improve writing without turning private drafts into a cloud service. Analysis happens locally inside the browser extension.

What DraftMirror processes

In manual mode, DraftMirror processes only text you explicitly select or the paragraph containing the caret in the active editor after you invoke the extension. A single-line field is treated as one paragraph. If you enable always-on assistance for a website, the same focused scope is processed after a short typing pause.

What DraftMirror does not collect

  • Draft text, email content, recipients or subjects
  • Browsing history or website activity
  • Names, email addresses or account information
  • Analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers or cookies
  • Clipboard contents

DraftMirror does not send draft text over the network, create a user account, store drafts or use writing for model training.

Information stored on your device

The extension stores only your selected intent, reader, natural-voice preference, hidden checks, keyboard preferences and the exact websites you choose to allow for optional always-on assistance. Closing the panel clears its in-memory working draft. The webpage where you are writing continues to control and store its own text as usual.

Website access

Installation grants no persistent website access. Manual use receives temporary access to the active tab only after you invoke DraftMirror. Persistent access is requested separately for each exact website you add in Settings and is removed when you remove that website.

DraftMirror cannot run on restricted browser pages such as browser settings, add-on stores or other protected pages.

Clipboard access

The clipboardWrite permission is used only after you click a control to copy revised text or the browser’s shortcut-settings address. DraftMirror never reads the clipboard.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or contact forms. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical connection data needed to deliver and protect the site, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Policy changes

If DraftMirror later introduces a feature that transmits data, the extension, store disclosure and this policy will be updated before that collection begins. Any consent required by the applicable browser store will be requested in the extension.
